陈英杰，1975年生，首都师范大学文学院教授、博士生导师，校学术委员会委员，中国先秦史学会理事、中国文字学会理事。主要从事商周青铜器与金文研究，迄今出版著作四部：《西周金文作器用途铭辞研究》（2008）、《文字与文献研究丛稿》（2011）、《容庚青铜器学》（2015）、《金文与青铜器研究论集》（2020），发表学术论文90多篇。
Chen Yingjie, male, born in 1975, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Arts of Capital Normal University, a member of the Academic Committee of the University, a director of the Chinese Pre Qin History Society and a director of the Chinese Character Society. He is mainly engaged in the research of Shang and Zhou bronzes and bronze inscriptions. So far, he has published four books:Research on the Use of Bronze Inscriptions in the Western Zhou Dynasty(2008),Research Collection of Characters and Documents(2011),RongGeng’s Study onBronzes(2015), andResearch Collection of Inscriptions and Bronzes(2020). He has published more than 90 academic papers.

容庚先生是中国青铜器学研究的奠基人，本讲座围绕容庚先生代表作《商周彝器通考》《殷周青铜器通论》和《金文编》展开，来谈容庚先生青铜器与金文研究的成就、研究特色、学术地位及其学术遗产。
Mr. Rong Geng is the founder of the study of Chinese bronzes. This lecture focuses on Mr. Rong Geng’s representative works to talk abouthisachievements, research characteristics,andacademic status and academic heritage in the study of bronzes andinscriptions.
